Applications:
The SLA range of rotary lobe pumps is designed to combine cost-effective simplicity and easy maintenance with TMX quality and reliability, making it suitable for general applications within the Dairy, Beverage, Food, Chemical, and Personal Care industries. This pump can handle liquids with low or high viscosity and can be fully cleaned with CIP.
It is particularly useful for filtration and bottling applications where products containing brittle solids such as curd need to be pumped without damage. The pump’s specially designed lobes allow for easy inspection or replacement without disassembling the pipework.
The SLA pump is a bare shaft rotary lobe pump with a stainless steel casing, cover, and two-lobe rotors with a sanitary attachment. It comes with an internal mechanical seal that is EHEDG approved, balanced, and hygienic in design. Other materials can be used as needed.
The compact and efficient SLA pump range can handle flow rates up to 122m3/h and pressures up to 12 bar.
The Series SLA pump achieves positive displacement through the use of non-contacting, contra-rotating two or three-lobe rotors that operate within a fully swept pump chamber.
